Who we are
Terragent is operated by mcstech, llc, 8051 N Tamiami Trail Ste E6, Sarasota, FL 34243, United States ("we", "us"). These terms apply to merchants who install Terragent on a Shopify store ("you"). By installing or using the app you agree to them.
The service
Terragent provides regional analytics, forecasts, AI-generated explanations and suggested advertising changes for Shopify stores. Analytics and forecasts are estimates based on the data available and may be wrong.
Ad account changes
Terragent only changes a connected ad account after the merchant approves that specific change. The merchant is responsible for approved changes and for their advertising spend.
Not tax or legal advice
The sales tax nexus tracker is an informational alert. Thresholds change and depend on details we can't see. Confirm with the relevant tax authority or an adviser.
Sample data
The optional sample store fills the app with invented example orders, visits and ad spend so you can see how it works. Remove it before relying on any figure. Proposals made on sample campaigns never change a real ad account.
Billing
The Free plan costs nothing. Paid plans (Growth and Pro) are billed through Shopify, monthly or yearly (yearly costs 20% less), and start with a 14-day free trial. You can change or cancel your plan at any time from the Plan page in the app; refunds and proration follow Shopify's billing rules. Uninstalling the app cancels its subscription. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice.
Data
You keep ownership of your store's data. We process it only to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy.
Acceptable use
Don't use Terragent to identify individuals, to target people based on sensitive characteristics, or in breach of advertising platform policies.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep Terragent available but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Features that depend on third parties (Shopify, Google, Meta, Microsoft, Anthropic) may change or stop when those services do. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
Liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or advertising spend, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms. Your store's data is deleted after uninstall as described in the privacy policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Disputes will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Sarasota County, Florida, unless the law where you are based requires otherwise.
